Inaugural Passage
Miami to San Francisco - 18-Day Voyage

Marina's sole westbound transit of the ingenious Panama Canal is an original that encompasses vastly different countries, offering great insight into life in Latin America. Relax in one of Cartagena's 16th century Old Town plazas, and its colonial history seems more relevant than ever. A tour of proud Puntarenas reveals its strong marine traditions, reflected curiously in even a Catholic church with portholes for windows.

Mexico bares its soul all along its Pacific coast, particularly on Acapulco's golden beaches and in the extraordinary seafood restaurants in strikingly beautiful Cabo San Lucas. This cruise also distinguishes itself by ending with memorable overnight stays in trendsetting Los Angeles and in free-spirited San Francisco, a brand-new port for Oceania Cruises. Must-dos include riding the famed cable cars and dining on succulent Dungeness Crabs at Fisherman's Wharf.

Voyage Highlights

Puerto Chiapas is the gateway to the fascinating, southermost state of Mexico. Visit pre-Columbian ruins including Izapa, where the Zoque people started trading Cacao and Obsidian over 3,500 years ago.

Marina
